Employee shall be employed as the Cargo Sales & Operations Manager for Midwest and West Coast.
Responsibilities for managing all aspects of cargo in the Midwest and West Coast including outside sales for managed area.

  • Lead, supervise, direct and motivate a diverse group of contractors employed in cargo sales, reservations and cargo operations in the area.
  • Generate sales that will ensure the highest possible yield according to price structure. Maximize the revenue opportunities.
  • Direct activities at the area of responsibility, ensuring the best service levels to customers. Monitor, control and file all export and import documentation.
  • Liaise with sales, reservations and cargo operations teams in the area to keep them apprised of day-to day operation.
  • Manage and direct all interfaces with Port Authorities, the FAA, US CBP, TSA, USPS and LOT Cargo partners. Ensure full compliance in all regulatory manners.
  • Manage the relationships with all LOT Cargo customers.
  • Collect all necessary market data including financial positions of all LOT Cargo customers.Complete statistical reports and supply all necessary data for update of the internal LOT Cargo Systems. Constantly identify business opportunities.
  • Ensure that all phones, e-mails are promptly and correctly answered.
  • Represent Employer at industry functions.
  • Liaise with accounting and financial team to ensure proper and timely accounting.
  • Meet sales, revenue and quality targets.
  • Regularly monitor assigned customers to review rates, performance and service quality.
  • Maintain highest possible cargo load factor in constant cooperation with Station and Operation Managers.
  • Other duties as requested by Cargo Director for the Americas including, but not limited to the duties usually performed by the employees temporally absent.
  • 3 years of sales experience in airline cargo industry
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
  • Knowledge of Cargospot is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated team player
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly organized
  • Flexibility and ability to travel – including LOT HQ in Warsaw
