Petersburg posiada przy tym bardzo dobrze rozbudowan\u0105 sie\u0107 metra i w przeciwie\u0144stwie np. do Budapesztu, tutaj budowa nowych linii metra nie s\u0142u\u017cy pretekstem do rozwalania linii tramwajowych.
