Kolejne 18 milion&oacute;w &euro;ma zosta\u0107 przeznaczone na budow\u0119 stacji James Boucher, prace budowlane maj\u0105 ruszy\u0107 w czerwcu tego roku. Z kolei podziemna linia metra do lotniska ma kosztowa\u0107 48 milion&oacute;w &euro;, z planowanym rozpocz\u0119ciem prac w 2010 roku oraz ich zako\u0144czeniem w 2013 roku. Natomiast brakuj\u0105cy obecnie centralny odcinek pierwszej linii metra ma zosta\u0107 otwarty we wrze\u015bniu bie\u017c\u0105cego roku. Zgodnie z tymi planami do 2012 roku w Sofii ma zosta\u0107 otwarte 13 nowych stacji metra, a do 2014 roku maj\u0105 powsta\u0107 dwie nowe linie. <br \/>W celu poprawy obs\u0142ugi przedmie\u015b\u0107 planowana jest budowa nowej linii tramwajowej wzd\u0142u\u017c bulwaru Tsarigradsko Shosse. Planowane zako\u0144czenie inwestycji ma nast\u0105pi\u0107 na jesie\u0144 2009 roku.
