Odcinek ten jest cz\u0119\u015bci\u0105 trasy Berlin &ndash;Rostok i zostanie przebudowany do osi\u0105gni\u0119cia pr\u0119dko\u015bci maksymalnej 160 km\/h. Dzi\u0119ki zastosowaniu nowoczesnych maszyn budowlanych ograniczenia w ruchu zosta\u0142y zminimalizowane. Linia RE5 jedynie w dniach 8 marca- 5 kwietnia oraz 14-30 kwietnia w wybranych kursach nie b\u0119dzie si\u0119 zatrzymywa\u0107 na przystanku Gransee, gdzie w zast\u0119pstwie pojad\u0105 autobusy. Prace budowlane b\u0119d\u0105 prowadzone za pomoc\u0105 maszyny RPM-RS 900 d\u0142ugo\u015bci 200 metr&oacute;w, kt&oacute;ra odnowi ca\u0142kowicie podtorze, natomiast maszyna UM-S2001 zabuduje podk\u0142ady i tory. W ramach modernizacji stacja Dannenwalde otrzyma nowe perony i przej\u015bcia. Wyremontowane zostan\u0105 przejazdy r&oacute;wnie\u017c w Dannenwalde i Seilershof. Na odcinku zostan\u0105 zainstalowane nowe urz\u0105dzenia srk, kt&oacute;re w przysz\u0142o\u015bci b\u0119d\u0105 sterowane elektronicznie z centrali w Berlinie. Po zako\u0144czeniu tego odcinka prace przenios\u0105 si\u0119 na inny. W efekcie tego do 2013 roku na trasie d\u0142ugo\u015bci 198 km \u0142\u0105cz\u0105cej Berlin i Rostok mia\u0142aby zosta\u0107 wprowadzona pr\u0119dko\u015b\u0107 160 km\/h, a czas jazdy mia\u0142by spa\u015b\u0107 poni\u017cej dw&oacute;ch godzin.
