W odleg\u0142o\u015bci 37 kilometr\u00f3w na zach\u00f3d od stolicy na obszarze 3 tysi\u0119cy hektar\u00f3w zostanie wybudowany port lotniczy, kt\u00f3ry pocz\u0105tkowo b\u0119dzie w stanie obs\u0142ugiwa\u0107 40 mln pasa\u017cer\u00f3w rocznie. Na program kolejowy inwestycji sk\u0142ada si\u0119 budowa 12 tras kolejowych, w tym 10 tzw. szprych prowadz\u0105cych ze wszystkich polskich region\u00f3w do Warszawy i CPK. Ka\u017cda ze szprych sk\u0142ada\u0107 si\u0119 b\u0119dzie z nowych linii o standardzie du\u017cych pr\u0119dko\u015bci oraz ze zmodernizowanych element\u00f3w istniej\u0105cej infrastruktury kolejowej.
