Posiadaj\u0105 sta\u0142e zestawienie sk\u0142adu (nie w\u0142\u0105cza si\u0119 i nie wy\u0142\u0105cza poszczeg&oacute;lnych wagon&oacute;w jak konieczne jest to w tradycyjnym sk\u0142adzie) i osi\u0105gaj\u0105 pr\u0119dko\u015b\u0107 u\u017cytkow\u0105 powy\u017cej 200 km\/h. <br \/>PKP Intercity korzystaj\u0105c ze wzor&oacute;w europejskich realizuje projekt kolei du\u017cych pr\u0119dko\u015bci w dw&oacute;ch etapach. Pierwszym jest zakup sk\u0142ad&oacute;w zespolonych klasy drugiej, a zatem poci\u0105g&oacute;w jad\u0105cych z pr\u0119dko\u015bci\u0105 190 km\/h &ndash;250 km\/h po obecnie istniej\u0105cych torach. Drugi etap, czyli zakup sk\u0142ad&oacute;w jad\u0105cych z pr\u0119dko\u015bci\u0105 do 350 km\/h, zwi\u0105zany b\u0119dzie z budow\u0105 tzw. Ygreka czyli szybkiej trasy \u0142\u0105cz\u0105cej Warszaw\u0119 &ndash;\u0141&oacute;d\u017a &ndash;Pozna\u0144 i Wroc\u0142aw. <br \/>Kupowane teraz przez PKP Intercity sk\u0142ady b\u0119d\u0105 osi\u0105ga\u0142y pr\u0119dko\u015b\u0107 maksymaln\u0105 250 km\/h przy pr\u0105dzie zmiennym, d\u0142ugo\u015b\u0107 sk\u0142adu wyniesie oko\u0142o 200 m, a liczba miejsc dla pasa\u017cer&oacute;w w zale\u017cno\u015bci od wybranego modelu mo\u017ce wynie\u015b\u0107 od 380 do 420 foteli. Sk\u0142ady b\u0119d\u0105 mia\u0142y trzy systemy zasilania (3kV, 15kV i 25kV). <br \/>Obecnie koszt jednego sk\u0142adu zespolonego waha si\u0119 w granicach od 16 do 29 mln euro.
