Natomiast przetarg na dostaw\u0119 121 pi\u0119trowych wagon&oacute;w niskopod\u0142ogowych wygra\u0142o konsorcjum z\u0142o\u017cone z firm Siemens oraz Bombardier. Dzi\u0119ki temu park taborowy S-Bahn Z&uuml;rich ma si\u0119 sk\u0142ada\u0107 wy\u0142\u0105cznie ze sk\u0142ad&oacute;w pi\u0119trowych, kt&oacute;re zast\u0105pi\u0105 jednopok\u0142adowe sk\u0142ady maj\u0105ce ju\u017c ponad 40 lat. R&oacute;wnie\u017c pierwsze sk\u0142ady pi\u0119trowe wyprodukowane w roku 1989 maj\u0105 ju\u017c prawie 20 lat i wymagaj\u0105 modernizacji. B\u0119d\u0105 one dostarczane w 2010 roku dla SZU oraz od 2011 roku dla SBB. Dodatkowo pozosta\u0142e wagony w sk\u0142adzie zostan\u0105 wyposa\u017cone w klimatyzacj\u0119. Natomiast z wagon&oacute;w wyci\u0105gni\u0119tych ze sk\u0142ad&oacute;w zostan\u0105 stworzone dodatkowe sk\u0142ady wagonowe z przeznaczeniem na przewozy w godzinach szczytu. Z tego zam&oacute;wienia 8 nowych niskopod\u0142ogowych wagon&oacute;w pi\u0119trowych ma trafi\u0107 do Sihltal&ndash;Z&uuml;rich&ndash;Uetliberg-Bahn (SZU), kt&oacute;ra r&oacute;wnie\u017c eksploatuje sk\u0142ady Re 450. Dodatkowo 50 nowych pi\u0119trowych zespo\u0142&oacute;w trakcyjnych dostarczy Stadler Rail. Sk\u0142ady te b\u0119d\u0105 mia\u0142y d\u0142ugo\u015b\u0107 150 metr&oacute;w, b\u0119d\u0105 si\u0119 sk\u0142ada\u0142y z sze\u015bciu wagon&oacute;w i pomieszcz\u0105 1694 pasa\u017cer&oacute;w z czego 526 na miejscach siedz\u0105cych. Z og&oacute;lnej liczby 112 przypadnie na pierwsz\u0105 klas\u0119, a 414 na drug\u0105. Waga tych poci\u0105g&oacute;w ma wynosi\u0107 296 ton, pud\u0142a b\u0119d\u0105 wykonane z aluminium, a pr\u0119dko\u015b\u0107 maksymalna b\u0119dzie wynosi\u0107 160 km\/h. Pierwsze sk\u0142ady maj\u0105 wyjecha\u0107 w 2011 roku.
