Wraz z jego wprowadzeniem poci\u0105gi kursuj\u0105ce z Warszawy na po\u0142udnie kraju przyspiesz\u0105 do 200 km\/h. Obecnie trwaj\u0105 prace nad uruchomieniem systemu ETCS poziom 1 na odcinku CMK z Grodziska Mazowieckiego do Zawiercia. Natomiast nowe sk\u0142ady zespolone Pendolino, przeznaczone g\u0142&oacute;wnie na tras\u0119 Gdynia &ndash;Warszawa &ndash;Katowice\/Krak&oacute;w, b\u0119d\u0105 fabrycznie wyposa\u017cone w takie urz\u0105dzenia. <br \/>Europejski System Sterowania Poci\u0105giem jest jednym z element&oacute;w Europejskiego Systemu Zarz\u0105dzania Ruchem Kolejowym ERTMS, kt&oacute;ry wdra\u017cany jest na wybranych odcinkach linii kolejowych kraj&oacute;w Unii Europejskiej.
