Jeszcze u progu XXI wieku tabor sp&oacute;\u0142ki sk\u0142ada\u0142 si\u0119 z blisko 100 tysi\u0119cy wagon&oacute;w. W dniu 31 grudnia 2011 r. PKP Cargo dysponowa\u0142o 65 453 wagonami. Dodatkowo, eksploatowane by\u0142o ok. 4 tysi\u0119cy wagon&oacute;w obcych.<\/div>\n<p><a title=\"Wagony PKP Cargo na stacji towarowej Lublin Tatary, przewidzianej pierwotnie do obs\u0142ugi lubelskiego zag\u0142\u0119bia w\u0119glowego\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"wagony_760\" alt=\"wagony_760\" src=\"https:\/\/transinfo.pl\/wp-content\/archiwum\/files2\/52845\/wagony_760.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n<div>Wagony dziel\u0105 si\u0119 na 10 rodzaj&oacute;w handlowych, oko\u0142o 60 serii i ponad 140 r&oacute;\u017cnych typ&oacute;w. Niemal wszystkie stanowi\u0105 w\u0142asno\u015b\u0107 Cargo, jedynie 4,7% jest leasingowanych, a 0,7% &#8211; wynajmowanych. \u015aredni wiek wagon&oacute;w wynosi\u0142 na koniec 2011 roku 26,6 lat, czyli 7 lat mniej ni\u017c \u015brednia dla lokomotyw. Nale\u017cy jednak zwr&oacute;ci\u0107 uwag\u0119 na fakt, i\u017c w 2010 r. 86,4% wagon&oacute;w mia\u0142o wi\u0119cej ni\u017c 20 lat. Wynika to z faktu, i\u017c wi\u0119kszo\u015b\u0107 obecnie eksploatowanych wagon&oacute;w pochodzi z lat 70. i 80. XX wieku, kiedy to towarowe przewozy kolejowe realizowane przez koleje pa\u0144stwowe by\u0142y znacznie wi\u0119ksze. 98% wagon&oacute;w by\u0142o przystosowanych do pr\u0119dko\u015bci maksymalnej 100 km\/h, natomiast do ruchu mi\u0119dzynarodowego dostosowane by\u0142o 67,5%.<\/div>\n<div>Struktura parku wagonowego pozostaje od lat zbli\u017cona. Ponad po\u0142ow\u0119 og&oacute;lnej liczby taboru stanowi\u0142y w\u0119glarki budowy normalnej w liczbie ponad 36 tysi\u0119cy (56,3% taboru). Wagony te s\u0105 u\u017cytkowane g\u0142&oacute;wnie w celu regularnego dowozu w\u0119gla kamiennego z kopal\u0144 do elektrowni. W w\u0119glarkach przewo\u017cone s\u0105 r&oacute;wnie\u017c kruszywa, kamie\u0144 wapienny, z\u0142om i drewno. Znacznie mniejszy udzia\u0142 stanowi\u0105 drugie w kolejno\u015bci w\u0119glarki typu F, budowy specjalnej (15,6% taboru). W tym typie znajduj\u0105 si\u0119 m. in. samowy\u0142adowcze wagony typu Talbot, z otwieranymi bocznymi klapami zsypowymi. <\/div>\n<div>Istotny udzia\u0142 w taborze maj\u0105 r&oacute;wnie\u017c platformy budowy normalnej i specjalnej, serii K i R oraz L i S (\u0142\u0105cznie 16,3%). Platformy s\u0105 wykorzystywane do przewozu d\u0142u\u017cyc, ta\u015bm stalowych w rulonach, kontener&oacute;w i innych. Znacznie mniejszy udzia\u0142 maj\u0105 wagony kryte, specjalne i z otwieranym dachem.<\/div>\n<div>Z ostatnich zakup&oacute;w, nale\u017cy wymieni\u0107 424 w\u0119glarki zakupione w 2011 r. za 105,7 mln z\u0142 (250 tys. z\u0142\/szt.). <\/div>\n<div>Wagony tworzy\u0142y w 2011 r. sk\u0142ady o \u015bredniej d\u0142ugo\u015bci 29,2 wagon&oacute;w, 431 metr&oacute;w i \u0142adowno\u015bci 1319 t. Rocznie remontowane jest ok. 11 tysi\u0119cy wagon&oacute;w.<\/div>\n<div>W minionym dziesi\u0119cioleciu, tzn. w latach 2001-2010 tabor PKP Cargo zmniejszy\u0142 si\u0119 z pocz\u0105tkowego poziomu blisko 100&nbsp;000 wagon&oacute;w a\u017c o 30&nbsp;300 wagon&oacute;w, tj. o 31,9%. Wynika\u0142o to z dostosowania wielko\u015bci parku wagonowego do istniej\u0105cej rynku przewozowego. Zmniejszy\u0142 si\u0119 udzia\u0142 wagon&oacute;w krytych (z 13% do 8%), za to zwi\u0119kszy\u0142 udzia\u0142 w\u0119glarek (z 67% do 71%) i platform (z 14% do 16%). <\/div>\n<div>Tab. 1.
