Deutsche Bahn wspólnie z Alstom Transport wypracuj\u0105 rozwi\u0105zanie problemów z zestawami ko\u0142owymi w sk\u0142adach ICE-T. Obecnie w wyniku wykrycia p\u0119kni\u0119\u0107 w zestawach ko\u0142owych tych poci\u0105gów kursuj\u0105 one z wy\u0142\u0105czonym systemem wychy\u0142u pud\u0142a. W zwi\u0105zku z tym zostan\u0105 opracowane nowe zestawy ko\u0142owe, które po akceptacji przez EBA zostan\u0105 skierowane do masowej produkcji i wymiana w ju\u017c kursuj\u0105cych sk\u0142adach. \u0141\u0105cznie zostanie wyprodukowanych 2104 zestawy ko\u0142owe, które obejmuj\u0105 1872 zestawy dla 67 poci\u0105gów ICE-T, natomiast pozosta\u0142e to rezerwa. Program wymiany ma ruszy\u0107 pod koniec 2011 roku, co pozwoli na ponowne kursowanie poci\u0105gów z systemem wychy\u0142u pud\u0142a. Podobne porozumienia dotycz\u0105ce nap\u0119dnych zestawów ko\u0142owych dla poci\u0105gów ICE3 zosta\u0142o podpisane z Siemensem i Bombardierem ju\u017c w pa\u017adzierniku zesz\u0142ego roku.
