W przeci\u0105gu dwóch lat na torach kolei serbskich \u017dS ma si\u0119 pojawi\u0107 10 nowych SZT. Zakup zostanie sfinansowany z po\u017cyczki w wysoko\u015bci 43 milionów franków szwajcarskich udzielonej przez Eurofima. Swój udzia\u0142 w przetargu zg\u0142osi\u0142y cztery firmy –CAF, \u017dOS Vrutky, Metrowagonmasz oraz TZV Gredelj. Warunkiem przetargu jest dostawa nowych pojazdów w przeci\u0105gu dwóch lat, jednak \u017dS liczy na rozpocz\u0119cie dostaw ju\u017c w przysz\u0142ym roku i zako\u0144czenie kontraktu w po\u0142owie 2011 roku. Pierwotnie \u017dS stara\u0142o si\u0119 o kredyt w wysoko\u015bci 60 milionów franków szwajcarskich, jednak z racji kryzysu gospodarczego suma zosta\u0142a zmniejszona. Mimo tego istnieje mo\u017cliwo\u015b\u0107 podniesienia tej kwoty o 17 milionów franków w trakcie realizacji zamówienia.
