Obecna jednotorowa trasa zyska drugi tor na ca\u0142ej swojej d\u0142ugo\u015bci, a pr\u0119dko\u015b\u0107 maksymalna ma wzrosn\u0105\u0107 z 90km\/h do 200 km\/h z mo\u017cliwo\u015bci\u0105 podniesienia do 230 km\/h. Dzi\u0119ki tej przebudowie stanie si\u0119 ona atrakcyjn\u0105 alternatyw\u0105 dla poci\u0105g&oacute;w \u0142\u0105cz\u0105cych Polsk\u0119 z Austri\u0105, kt&oacute;re obecnie omijaj\u0105 Brno. Modernizacja pozwoli r&oacute;wnie\u017c na wprowadzenie poci\u0105g&oacute;w regionalnych w takcie 30 minutowym. Kosztorys tej inwestycji nie jest jeszcze znany. W dalszej kolejno\u015bci 200 km\/h mia\u0142oby zosta\u0107 wprowadzone na odcinku Brno &#8211; B\u0159eclav, gdzie obecnie wyst\u0119puje jedynie jeden przejazd w poziomie jezdni. W przesz\u0142o\u015bci jednostka serii 680 osi\u0105gn\u0119\u0142a tam 237 km\/h podczas jazd pr&oacute;bnych. Ju\u017c trwaj\u0105 prace nad wyposa\u017ceniem tego odcinka w system GSM-R oraz ETCS.
