Cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 zobowi\u0105za\u0144 finansowych wobec sp&oacute;\u0142ki APTS wci\u0105\u017c nie zosta\u0142a wype\u0142niona przez kontrahent&oacute;w, nadal tocz\u0105 si\u0119 r&oacute;wnie\u017c negocjacje handlowe i technologiczne z wierzycielami, jednak nic nie wskazuje na popraw\u0119 sytuacji w daj\u0105cej si\u0119 okre\u015bli\u0107 przysz\u0142o\u015bci. Efektem prac by\u0142 system transportu uwzgl\u0119dniaj\u0105cy wydzielone pasy, system sterowania bezobs\u0142ugowego, platformy przystankowe, informacj\u0119 pasa\u017cersk\u0105 oraz nowoczesny tabor. By\u0142 nim Phileas &ndash;niezwyk\u0142a krzy\u017c&oacute;wka autobusu i tramwaju. Phileasy wyst\u0119puj\u0105ce w wersjach przegubowych dwu- i tr&oacute;jcz\u0142onowych o d\u0142ugo\u015bci 18 m, 24 m i 26 m poruszaj\u0105 si\u0119 na ogumionych ko\u0142ach niczym zwyk\u0142y autobus, jednak nad torem ich drogi czuwa zaawansowany system sterowania elektronicznego wykorzystuj\u0105cy m. in. \u015bledzenie zatopionych w asfalcie element&oacute;w magnetycznych. Pojazdy mog\u0105 by\u0107 sterowane komputerowo, bez kierowcy, ostatecznie jednak ze wzgl\u0119du na regulacje prawne pozostawiono w nich kierowc&oacute;w, cho\u0107 ich rola uleg\u0142a znacznemu ograniczeniu. Nadwozia Phileas&oacute;w wykonano z modu\u0142&oacute;w aluminiowo-kompozytwych, przez co uzyskano mas\u0119 ni\u017csz\u0105 o ok. 40% w por&oacute;wnaniu z tradycyjnymi konstrukcjami. Dodatkowo Phileasy s\u0105 bardzo zwrotne dzi\u0119ki zastosowaniu wszystkich k&oacute;\u0142 skr\u0119tnych z pojedynczym ogumieniem. Zaawansowany system sterowania umo\u017cliwia nawet poruszanie si\u0119 w bok, tzw. crab drive. Od pocz\u0105tku zadbano tak\u017ce o ekologi\u0119, stosuj\u0105c nap\u0119d hybrydowy. Atutem system&oacute;w obs\u0142ugiwanych przez Phileasy by\u0142y tak\u017ce oszcz\u0119dno\u015bci. Inwestycje zwi\u0105zane z budow\u0105 i konserwacj\u0105 infrastruktury mia\u0142y by\u0107 znacznie ta\u0144sze ni\u017c w przypadku tramwaj&oacute;w, poniewa\u017c nie obejmowa\u0142y torowiska oraz sieci trakcyjnej.
