W sierpniu do taboru Szczeci\u0144sko-Polickiego Przedsi\u0119biorstwa Komunikacyjnego do\u0142\u0105czy\u0142y trzy autobusy MAN NL 223. Kolejne dwa przegubowe MAN`y NG 313 dotr\u0105 do przewo\u017anika w przeci\u0105gu najbli\u017cszych miesi\u0119cy. Nowe pojazdy zosta\u0142y zakupione na drodze przetargu nieograniczonego og\u0142oszonego. Zastosowano nast\u0119puj\u0105ce kryteria wyboru ofert i ich znaczenie: cena (koszt) – 65%, w\u0142a\u015bciwo\u015bci techniczno-eksploatacyjne – 25%, gwarancja ca\u0142opojazdowa – 10%. Swoje oferty zg\u0142osi\u0142y dwie firmy: MAN Star Trucks & Busses (cena brutto 5 067 880 z\u0142) i Solaris Bus & Coach (cena brutto 4 904 412,20 z\u0142). Wygra\u0142 MAN, kt\u00f3ry od 1999 r. jest g\u0142\u00f3wnym dostawc\u0105 autobus\u00f3w dla SPPK Police. W 1999 r. zakupiono 6 pojazd\u00f3w, w tym 5 szt. MAN NL 222 i 1 szt. MAN NG 312. W 2000 r. zakupiono 3 pojazd\u00f3w, w tym 1 szt. MAN NL 222 i 2 szt. MAN NL 223. W 2001 r. zakupiono 3 szt. w tym 1 szt. MAN NL 223, 1 szt. NG 313 i 1 szt. Jelcz M081MB. W 2002 r. SPPK jako jedyny do tej pory przewo\u017anik w Polsce kupi\u0142 15-metrowe autobusy MAN NL 313 6×2 (5 szt.). Jak wida\u0107 tradycja zakup\u00f3w pojazd\u00f3w marki MAN jest do\u015b\u0107 d\u0142uga i na razie nic nie zapowiada na jej zmian\u0119.
