O polityce rowerowej \u0141odzi w kontek\u015bcie skutecznego pozyskiwania funduszy pozastrukturalnych Unii Europejskiej rozmawiano w czwartek na konferencji zorganizowanej przez Urz\u0105d Miasta. Mo\u017cliwo\u015bci, jakie nios\u0105 za sob\u0105 fundusze przedstawi\u0142 pe\u0142nomocnik prezydenta \u0141odzi ds. polityki rowerowej Witold Kope\u0107 –pisze Rowerowa \u0141ód\u017a<\/font><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

– Naszym zadaniem jest upe\u0142noprawnienie rowerów jako \u015brodka komunikacji w mie\u015bcie. Mo\u017cemy tego dokona\u0107 m.in. poprzez pozyskiwanie funduszy pozastrukturalnych z Unii Europejskiej. Oprócz \u015brodków przeznaczonych na rozwój polityki rowerowej zapisanych w bud\u017cecie, chcemy zdoby\u0107 tak\u017ce te zewn\u0119trzne. O wiele \u0142atwiej b\u0119dzie nam tego dokona\u0107 wspólnie z o\u015bciennymi gminami.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Na konferencj\u0119 zaproszono urz\u0119dników z gmin i miast województwa \u0142ódzkiego, a tak\u017ce przedstawicieli gda\u0144skiego magistratu, który stawiany jest za wzór zrównowa\u017conej mobilno\u015bci. O formie „pozyskiwania miasta dla ludzi”przekonywa\u0142 wiceprezydent Maciej Lisicki.

– Postawili\u015bmy przed sob\u0105 pewne priorytety w tej dziedzinie. K\u0142adziemy nacisk na transport publiczny, tworzenie deptaków i przywrócenie ruchu rowerowego na ulicach. Oprócz budowania nowych dróg rowerowych, zwi\u0119kszyli\u015bmy liczb\u0119 ulic, na których porusza\u0107 si\u0119 mo\u017cna z pr\u0119dko\u015bci\u0105 nie wi\u0119ksz\u0105 ni\u017c 30 km na godzin\u0119. Znie\u015bli\u015bmy z nich tak\u017ce cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 znaków drogowych, które utrudnia\u0142y jazd\u0119 rowerzystom. To proste dzia\u0142ania, ale ju\u017c przynosz\u0105ce efekty.

Wed\u0142ug wiceprezydenta Gda\u0144ska, w nadba\u0142tyckim mie\u015bcie \u015bredni ruch rowerowy to ok. 500 osób na godzin\u0119, co wynosi 2 proc. ca\u0142ego ruchu w mie\u015bcie. \u0141ód\u017a nie musi si\u0119 wstydzi\u0107, bowiem wed\u0142ug wylicze\u0144 Zarz\u0105du Dróg i Transportu, np. na skrzy\u017cowaniu ul. Piotrkowskiej z al. Pi\u0142sudskiego w cieplejsze dni przeje\u017cd\u017ca 450 rowerzystów. Gda\u0144szczanie mog\u0105 pochwali\u0107 si\u0119 tak\u017ce zakupem rowerów s\u0142u\u017cbowych dla urz\u0119dników oraz obowi\u0105zkiem budowy parkingu dla jedno\u015bladów przy ka\u017cdym nowo powstaj\u0105cym osiedlu.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

– \u0141odzi brakuje przede wszystkim do\u015bwiadczenia w polityce rowerowej, dlatego czerpiemy dobre wzorce. Z drugiej strony, nasze miasto jest autentyczne, co tak\u017ce oznacza, \u017ce uk\u0142ad dróg i ich wielko\u015b\u0107 jest taka, jak\u0105 przed laty stworzyli wielcy budowniczowie \u0141odzi . Z takimi problemami te\u017c musimy si\u0119 boryka\u0107. Ca\u0142e szcz\u0119\u015bcie, \u017ce mamy w\u015bród nas zapale\u0144ców i jednocze\u015bnie fachowców, którzy pomagaj\u0105 nam je rozwi\u0105zywa\u0107 –powiedzia\u0142a prezydent \u0141odzi Hanna Zdanowska i doda\u0142a: – Kiedy prawie rok temu podpisywa\u0142am Kart\u0119 Brukselsk\u0105, wspomina\u0142am, \u017ce chc\u0119, by nasze miasto by\u0142o przyjazne rowerzystom. I wci\u0105\u017c chc\u0119, by\u015bmy stali si\u0119 liderem w tej dziedzinie.
